Isaly blog writes that Morrison Bowmore has announced a new limited edition expression:

“The premium vintage single malt is bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.5% ABV, and the whisky has been aged principally in Bordeaux wine casks, Bowmore said yesterday (18 September). It is to be sold exclusively through specialist retailers in the UK, with a recommended retail price of GBP59.99 (US$107.80). “Bowmore 16 Year Old Wine Cask Matured is the fine result of a hand-crafted process which began back in 1992,” said Bowmore brand director Glen Moore. “Since then the spirit has had time to slowly mature in our cellars near the shores of Loch Indaal on Islay.”
